Airgo History
When talking about automatic tire inflation systems, credit must be given where credit is due, and that is to the founder and president of AiRGO Systems, Tony Ingram. AiRGO’s management and employees acknowledges Mr. Ingram for the introduction of Automatic Tire Inflation Systems (ATIS) for over-the-road trailers. We take pride in our founder’s ability, innovation and engineering insight. AiRGO holds eight patents, with others pending, that directly relate to automatic tire inflation technology. Our in-depth experience allows AiRGO to continue to improve ATIS technology and make it more user-friendly, reliable and cost-effective. At AiRGO Systems, LLC, we have more than 17 years of experience in ATIS, and our products meet or exceed the rigorous demands of the class 6,7 and 8 trailers used to transport the majority of the goods throughout the world.
In 1997, after his fourth year in manufacturing and distributing ATIS to the over-the-road transportation market, Mr. Ingram initiated design efforts to make the Rotary Union, End Plug, Stator and other products within ATIS, more robust. In 2003, AiRGO Systems, LLC, was formed. Because of Mr. Ingram's tireless efforts and engineering efforts, AiRGO now manufactures the best-engineered product in the industry.“My goal was to give the end users a quality, reliable and durable product that help to solve major tire and petroleum related issues unique to the transportation industry, and we did that,” says Ingram. “To my satisfaction, AiRGO continues to improve on this technology to make the best automatic tire inflation systems in the world.”
Unique Features of the AiRGO System (features other systems simply do not offer):
Stronger, lightweight high-pressure hoses, our materials come in neoprene or stainless steel jackets. Each hose includes a check valve at the valve stem that attaches the tire to the Rotary Union.
Tougher Rotary Union, manufactured with unique materials for longevity. Also includes a superior venting system that allows our bearing area to run cooler, while at the same time prevents moisture and contaminates to enter the system.
We use the most cubic feet of air volume (CFM) in the tire inflation industry. Our higher CFM technology simply places more air into the tire to accommodate for larger air leaks.
We fully cover our Control Units to add protection from the outside elements.
Innovative Axle Plugs that are the easiest and quickest in the industry to install just tap into place and you are done. Our competition has plugs that use glue therefore will have a set up time. Also our new Axle Plugs have proven to eliminate leaks and maintenance issues by using fewer connections and air lines.
Tamper proof regulator and an adjustable pressure switch for custom applications has also been developed and included.
Our system delivers constant air monitoring to each tire independently without any driver intervention. Airgo’s Platinum system is the only system on the Automatic Tire Inflation System ATIS market that offers easy troubleshooting features which, allows complete servicing without removing the hub cap and draining the hub cap oil.
Airgo Gold and Platinum Series
There are two Airgo Systems available.
GOLD SERIESThe Gold Series was designed for those already using other automatic inflation systems that wanted to upgrade to more robust components and other AiRGO benefits, e.g., mechanical long life seal technology and hoses with check valves at the valve stem.
PLATINUM EDITION
The Platinum Edition offers the best of everything in Automatic Tire Inflation Systems. It incorporates double bearings, mechanical long-life seal technology, and superior venting. The Platinum Edition includes custom hubcaps in each kit. (Includes all of the advanced technology described above).
